

What is families count?
Families Count is a transformative seven-week parenting class and mentoring program designed specifically for parents. We hold consecutive classes for seven weeks, culminating in a graduation complete with certificates. Each graduate not only receives a certificate for themselves, but one is also provided to their caseworker.
Classes are offered by local churches that have been specially trained by the professional staff of Lifeline Children’s Services. This church-led process assists participants in developing a network of support that can continue beyond the seven weeks of classes. A goal of the program is to put protective factors in place for families to provide accountability for parents while fostering personal growth and development. Each class includes:

Dates + Times
Classes are held for seven weeks consecutively on Mondays at 6 pm. We offer three semesters of classes per year in spring, summer, and fall.
Location
All classes take place at Grace City Church located at 294 Oakland Pkwy in Leesburg, Georgia.
Parent Mentor
Participants have the option of being matched with a mentor to offer coaching, prayer, and emotional support.
Meals + Transportation
Our classes provide transportation when needed and homecooked meals to ensure smooth attendance.
Childcare
Childcare is provided by background-checked teachers in a safe environment while parents attend class.
