July 2 | Take a Stand

The call of every follower of Jesus living in a fallen culture is to take a stand. In our faith and relationship with God, if we don’t stand our ground, it’s only a matter of time before we fall down. The difficulty is that for many of us is that the very standard we were meant to be standing on—the Word of God—is being stolen from us. The lie of culture is to get us to believe we don’t need a standard. We don’t need an absolute truth. We can determine truth for ourselves instead of discovering it in the timeless Word of God. 

Today, we talk about WHY not having the standard of the Word of God in our lives can be so detrimental to our life and faith and what we can do today to take a stand.
